What about starting with the typical expression Once upon a time...
Thus, once upon a time in a city called Beallsville, in Ohio, a terrible event happened that was going to change completely the life of two local families: the Thompson and the Williams.
On 2nd of October 1982, Will Thompson, an 11 year-old boy, was making for school like any other day. He was going with his best friend Mike Williams, who was the same age. They were talking about the adventure they had had the day before. They went to the Black Forest near the village and they tried to find something special, but they didn’t expect what they were going to find. They were walking when they saw a purple light floating in the air. The two guys started to follow the light. They spent ten minutes after it, but suddenly, the light disappeared in front of an abandoned house in the forest. Will asked Mike if it was a good idea to enter the house and Mike agreed. It definitely was a great idea. After just five seconds, they changed their mind. The door closed mysteriously. They tried to open it, but it was impossible, so they moved to another room of the house. Mike saw a sheet of paper on a table in a place that was like a living room: “Never look backwards” it stated. Mike was getting more and more nervous and felt something touching his back. He turned back. It was Will. It seemed he was more nervous than Mike. He said that he had seen a lot of shades on the top floor and he was so scared. They tried to open the door; this time it opened easily though. They said they would go back the following afternoon.
Therefore, they returned there the day after, but something had changed thoroughly. The house wasn’t there any longer and it looked like someone was following them. As a matter of fact, he was pursuing them. They tried to return home but something appeared in front of them. It was like a large monster without a face, with only a mouth that was saying all the time: Never look backwards. The boys started to run. The monster was trying to catch the boys, always repeating the same. Never look backwards, once and again. The monster caught the boys and ate them in a few bites.
Some people say they’ve seen the monster in the forest, although there are quite a few people who say that’s all a legend. I can only say that nobody should enter The Black Forest. You might get eaten!
